Broadcasts will begin on the night of October 24 to 25
The CEO of The Basket Lab, Marc Mundet, will be part of the NBA on Prime team starting this upcoming season. Mundet will be one of the voices for the package of games acquired by Amazon in Spain, alongside Lalo Alzueta, Andrés Monje, Sergio Rabinal, and Anna Cruz. His first game will be Los Angeles Lakers vs. Minnesota Timberwolves, in the early hours of Friday the 24th to Saturday the 25th — a rematch of last season’s First Round playoff series, where the Wolves convincingly won 4–1.
Mundet holds a degree in Audiovisual Communication from the University of Navarra and has an extensive background in basketball commentary and media coverage. For 20 years, he was the voice of basketball at RAC1 —Catalonia’s leading radio station— where he covered every major event linked to the sport. Previously, he was Radio Marca’s correspondent in Barcelona. His most notable assignments include coverage and live commentary of the Beijing Olympic Games, the 2008 NBA Finals, the 2015 NBA All-Star Game, 4 Basketball World Cups, 4 EuroBaskets, 10 EuroLeague Final Fours, and 18 Spanish Copa del Rey tournaments.
